Community Assessment Fee: The current yearly assessment fee is $275.00 and is due every January. Payment Coupons will be mailed to each homeowner in December. Checks should be made payable to Borneham Wood HOA with the property address noted on the check. Assessments should be mailed to:

Trash and Recycling:
Household trash must be bundled securely in plastic bags or containers and placed by the curb by 6:00 a.m. Trash and/or recycling should not be put out prior to 6:00 p.m. the night before collection. All containers should be removed from public view no later than 9:00 p.m. the day of collection.

Set-Out Instructions: Carts should be set out approximately 3 feet apart (12 inches at a minimum) and at least 6 feet away from vehicles
and other personal property so that vehicles and personal property do not get damaged during the collection process. Carts must be placed at the curb with the handles facing the house. Carts must not be overfilled (the lid must close tightly on its own).
Holiday Schedule: Regular trash, recycling, brush and bulk collection services are provided on all holidays except Christmas Day. The Customer Service Center is closed in observance of all county holidays.
Severe Weather/Emergency: In the interest of safety, trash and recycling collection may be suspended in severe weather or in emergency

Special Collections: For collecting household items too large to collect with a standard garbage truck.
Your base service includes 5 special collections per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). You must schedule special collections in advance.The cut off time for next day pickups is 2:30 PM the day before your collection day.
Special collection piles are limited to:
• 12 cubic yards of material (a pile about 5 feet x 6feet x 10 feet)
• Piles of heavy/dense materials are limited to 6cubic yards.
• Materials must be no bigger than 6 feet long and 6inches in diameter.
• We need 20 feet of clearance on all sides of debris as well as above the debris so that we can safely collect. Do not put debris under power wires or tree branches.

A permit is required for most new residential and commercial construction.

Building plans may be required and if so, must be designed under the current building code and local design criteria. A site-related plan may be required based on the land disturbance activity of your construction on your property.
